SFC Pioneer Sepiatec acquired by BUCHI
Sepiatec, an innovative pioneer in Supercritical Fluid Chromatography Systems, headquartered in Berlin, has been acquired by Swiss lab equipment manufacturer BÜCHI Labortechnik AG.
“We see great potential in the possibilities of SFC, which is typically faster and more environmentally friendly than classic liquid chromatography” BUCHI CEO Roger Baumann commented the deal. BUCHI acquired 100% of the company on August 16, 2022. Wolf-Rainer Jüterbock, CEO of Sepiatec, says “There is a lot of synergy between the two companies and a perfect cultural fit!”. Sepiatec will continue business as usual from its facilities in Berlin, with the complete team onboard. Roger Bauman comments: “We are excited to add a highly qualified and motivated team and a new attractive location to the worldwide BUCHI family!”.
