Apprenticeship

If you are in transition from a Swiss school to the labor market and looking for a brief trial apprenticeship or a full-time one, please check the options available at BUCHI in Flawil. You will find an employer who encourages and challenges you. All training courses are completed with a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ). If you have the right qualifications, we will support you in taking the Swiss vocational baccalaureate.

Equal pay for men and women at BUCHI in Switzerland

In Switzerland, there is a right to equal pay for equal work or work of equal value. This is enshrined in the Federal Constitution, Art. 8, Third Sentence: "Man and woman are entitled to equal pay for work of equal value". The principle of equal pay has been specified in the Gender Equality Act (GlG) since 1996. However, equal pay has not yet been achieved everywhere. To be on the safe side, BUCHI has had an "L&M-Aba-R®" pay equity analysis performed at the company in accordance with the federal constitution. The pay equity analysis was conducted and certified by an independent partner using a scientific and legally compliant method (Art. 13c GlG). The company BÜCHI Labortechnik AG meets the criteria for equal pay.
