Accommodating flasks up to 3L, the cost-effective Rotavapor® R-180 is ideal for routine evaporation and fits neatly between the compact Rotavapor® R-80 (1L) and the fully automated Rotavapor® R-300 (5L).

The Rotavapor® R-180 provides laboratories with reliable solutions suited for diverse evaporation tasks. Compatible with a wide range of accessories to streamline workflows and expand capabilities, the R-180 can be equipped with:

  • Four different glass assembly options, including a back-feeding configuration, to match your application needs.
  • The Interface I-80 / I-180 enables precise operation and efficient vacuum control.
  • The Vacuum Pump V-80 / V-180 ensures quiet operation and reduced bumping.
  • The compact and eco-conscious Recirculating Chiller F-180, which uses natural refrigerants (GWP 3) and supports up to two Rotavapors®.

Smart Design for Crowded Labs

The Rotavapor® R-180 is the ideal solution for crowded labs, allowing both the instrument and its accessories to be adjusted to fit the available space. Its interface can be rotated up to 90°, providing clear visibility and convenient access while optimizing bench space. To further save space, the vacuum pump can be placed on top of the chiller, and a secondary condenser can be mounted to the side.

Built-in safety

Designed with safety in mind, the Rotavapor® R-180 features:

  • IP42 protection against water splashes, ideal for busy laboratory environments.
  • An electric lift that automatically raises the flask from the bath during power outages, safeguarding valuable samples from overheating.
  • Safety-coated glassware to help reduce sample loss from accidental breakage.
