The SARS-CoV2 (Corona) virus is now present practically all over the world and has had a lasting influence on society, the economy and private life in all countries in which BUCHI is represented. In the meantime, some affected countries have already returned to normality, others are slowly opening.

For BUCHI, the protection of our employees and the guarantee of support for our customers remains the top priority. Our production sites in Switzerland and India are working to capacity today (June 10, 2020).

Thanks to the close contact with our suppliers worldwide, we have been able to detect delivery delays early and prevent interruptions in our supply chain. We continue to regard limited shipping capacities in individual countries, and a massive increase in freight prices as our greatest risks. BUCHI Operations is monitoring the situation closely and will take appropriate action if necessary. As of today, we can meet our normal delivery times for most products. For products that are available with a delay, we communicate the adjusted delivery times as quickly as possible through our distribution channels.

The last months have proven that our business processes are set up in such a way that they still work in quarantine cases in all countries. BUCHI has taken important measures to prevent the spread of the virus as far as possible. We rely on all recommended hygiene measures, clear physical distancing and, where possible, we allow our employees to work remotely from their home. In addition, we communicate openly and honestly in line with our values, including with our customers and partners.

Our glass production in India has been partially open again since April 25, 2020, after a 5-week state-imposed lock down phase. We have been able to start production of our BUCHI glassware again Together with our glass production in Switzerland, we have succeeded in preventing supply bottlenecks during this period.

주문 선적

3월 30일 기준으로 스위스 본사의 생산공장은 전능력으로 가동되고 있으며

인도의 유리생산공장이 임시적으로 중단 상태이나 이로인한 공급 부족현상은 없습니다.

뷰키는 전세계의 원료 공급 파트너사들과의  긴밀한 접촉을 통하여 혹시모를 주문 및 배송 공급 지연을 선제적으로 제어하고 최소화 하기 위해서 노력하고 있습니다.

현재까지, 저희는 특정 국가들에 대한 제한된 선적용량을 가장 큰 위험으로 파악하고 있습니다.

저희는 이런한 잠재적 장애요인들을 면밀히 감시하여 적절한 조치를 능동적으로 취할 것입니다.

기존의 주문 건에 대하여 현재까지 저희는 정상적인 납품 소요시간을 준수하고 있으며 예외적 사항은 극히 일부입니다.
