UX/UI Designer / Global UX Owner
We are seeking a creative and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for the user experience and user interface of all digital customer-facing software, including websites, instrument apps, mobile and web applications of the company. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure that the final product is intuitive, easy to use, and visually appealing.

What makes your everyday life exciting?
- Design the user experience and user interface of all digital customer-facing software
- Develop and implement a design system for all of BUCHI digital customer-facing software in line with the BUCHI brand
- Conduct usability tests, design thinking workshops, fast prototyping, and wireframes
- Train and oversee UX research methodology for product managers, business analysts, and product owners
- Organize UX research activities: user research, user flow, identification and creation of user personas, workshops with internal stakeholders worldwide, documentation of workshops, trend monitoring, development, and visualization of visions
What skills do you need to bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, or HCI or equivalent professional experience
- Creative, inspired, and open mind with strong attention to detail and ability to independently work on multiple projects
- Ability to moderate workshops with participants of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to demonstrate usefulness and limits of the UX tools
- Fluency in English (team language) and willingness to travel (max. 10%)
- Ideally experience with instrument/device design for laboratories and basic understanding of chemistry as well as experience with Figma, Invision, Sketch, Adobe Suite and basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
