Extraction Applications
Buchi offers a wide range of extraction solutions. Solvent extraction is the most often used sample preparation technique to determine different ingredients in food and feed, industrial and environmental samples. Depending on the customer needs there are different units available (Extraction System B-811, Extraction System B-811 LSV, Extraction Units E-812, E-816). The application task can be implemented in the best way.
Buchi offers a unique, complete selection of extraction techniques such as the Hot-, Warm-, Randall-, Goldfish or the Standard-Soxhlet-Extraction. The product range has recently been expanded with the high speed extraction technique Pressurized Solvent Extraction PSE (also known as Accelerated Solvent Extraction ASE) from Applied Separations.
Our Extraction Systems have set a new standard in solid-liquid extraction procedures. User friendliness, workflow packages and time savings together with the applications in fat, environmental and pharmaceutical analysis are the key points of complete system solutions.
The Soxhlet Extraction procedures operates in accordance with the recognized methods as §64 LFBG (Weibull-Stoldt) and AOAC Acid Hydrolysis Method (Hydrolysis Unit B-411, E-416).
