EasyVac Limitations

What are the limitations of EasyVac regarding flask size and solvents?

The EasyVac module works fine with a lab-scale rotary evaporator and flask sizes between 100 ml and 4 litres. All typical solvents are precisely detected. If mixtures of solvents are used, it may happen that the second solvent is not detected and has to be distilled in a second step.

Manual adjustment EasyVac

During automatic distillation with the EasyVac, I want to speed up the process. How can I regulate the parameters?

By simply pressing the up / down button, the operator can adjust the pressure and thus the distillation process. The pressure remains on the adjusted level until the process is terminated. 

EasyVac and display

Can I have the Vacuum Module V-801 EasyVac with display?

No, the EasyVac has no display. If the pressure display and the EasyVac function should be combined, we recommend the V-855 Vacuum Controller covering both features.

Drying and EasyVac

Can I use the EasyVac function for drying processes?

Typically, only a few amount of solvent is evaporated in a drying process. Thus, the EasyVac is not recommended.

LabVac compatibility

I have a Vacuum Pump V-7100 with B-719 controller. Can I use the LabVac module instead of the B-719?

No. The two types of controllers have different communication and protocols and are therefore not compatible.

LabVac and V-700 compatibility

Can I use the LabVac module also with the Vacuum Pump V-700?

Basically yes, However, as the typical application of the Vacuum Module V-802 LabVac is the combination of different vacuum users to one system, the Vacuum Pump V-700 is to small. The ideal combination is the Vacuum Pump V-710 and the LabVac module.
